My Charge 5 always has around 540 to 560 calories burnt before I start my day. I don't sleep with it on at night, I keep the watch on a charge stand at night. But when I go to pick it up it always says those numbers, is there any way to correct this?

Hi there, @1234Garrett. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and sharing the details about the inconvenience with your Charge 5.
Please keep in mind the value that you see on your Fitbit when you wake up in the morning is your estimated calorie burn for the day so far.
As a friendly reminder, note you still burn calories even if you have been sedentary or were sleeping. We estimate your calorie burn based on your age, gender, height and weight. You burning calories even when you are sleeping. When you are not wearing your Fitbit then it is estimated your passive calories burned. For more information, see How accurate are Fitbit devices?
Probably, the same amount you're seeing after waking up is the same you saw once you created your Fitbit account. This is because after the set up, it then populates your profile with this calorie burn back for six months (even more or years back) or so to give you a sensible baseline against which to compare your future calorie burn once your watch starts tracking your exercise and adding exercise calories to your BMR calories. What you're seeing is an expected behavior and the calorie counts re individualized to you.
