Charge 5 is crashing every time I sync it

I've had the Charge 5 issues.  I've tried everything I could think of and every suggestion I've seen from clock faces to forced starts.  I've installed the device, the app, every Bluetooth connection (restoring only the charge) but it still reliably crashes when I sync with my phone (IOS App). I have to keep device wired to sync. i am open for solution beyond reset or clock face change etc.

Hi there, @Kiranacharya76. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is crashing when syncing. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As our last resort, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Charge 5. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc. 

With the above being said, please sync your Luxe and then, proceed with the steps below in the order listed: 

  1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
  2. On your Fitbit device, open the Settings app > Device Info > Clear User Data

Hi, Thanks for suggestion; however this didnt work. i reset device as well as reinstall Mobile app on my iPhone as well; however nothing worked. it is still switching off as soon as i sync with mobile app. Is there anything else that i can try?
