I have tried all the suggestions in this forum and my Charger 5 still won’t charge. I have an older one they I bought when they first came out, charged it and it works great. I have been a Fitbit person when they first came out, why is the product not as good as it use to be? Longevity is a thing of the past and not as good as earlier models. I am highly disappointed in this product.

Mine has taken a nose dive in the last couple weeks. I was getting a full week with battery of 23% left over after 7 days. Now all of a sudden I am not even getting 2 days. In fact I had a full charge tonight and two hours later showing only 5%. Did a reset. And it happened again.
feels like somebody is trying to force us to buy a newer model….

Hello @CrusinClassic
When my Charge 5 started having rapid battery loss, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. As soon as I saw a rapid drop in battery, I restarted my Charge 5 and put it on the charger until it was back to 100%, often doing this multiple times in a day. Eventually, this process got my device "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days. Although there's no guarantee that this will work for you, it might be worth a try.

Yep…. It died again while I was at work today. Staring the charge and restart routine again now. 5pm here at this posting. Should be able to charge at least once before bed time. Recharge do the reset routine again and see how it holds up.

Been there done that. Charging…. Reset… Charging… Reseting…. I don’t use any of the notifications functions, wallet… Just steps and heart rate…. It was fine until about two weeks ago and the life was a little shorter. Now not even a day on a full charge…..

I am having the same problems too with my Charge 5 - suddenly stopped charging - says 1%, vibrates with Fitbit logo screen for few seconds and then dies. My Fitbit is less than 2 years old - appalling length of service. If we were still in the EU it would be under guarantee but as we’re not, it’s only a year. You don’t spend £100 on something and expect it to only last a year. Appalling.
