I have followed all the various procedures to resend my fitbit charge 5 and now my Andrpid Bluetooth doesn't even recognize my fitbit. Connecting the two is not an option! This has caused my alarms to not work because my phone is still with yesterday's data but today's date! HOW DO OLI FIX THIS!!!

@Nakonaska1
Are you trying to connect through the phone's BT or the Fitbit app? You need to use the app to pair.
What phone are you using? Does it meet the minimum Android version?
You can try adding the Charge 5 as a new device in the Fitbit app.

Hi there, @Nakonaska1. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is still not connecting to your Android phone. I understand your concern, we're here to help you!
Have you tried the tips and recommendations provided by @gdio53?
In addition to the steps you've done so far, I'd recommend trying the following steps in the order listed:
- Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
- Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Force quit the Fitbit app.
- Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
- Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
- Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
- Set up your Fitbit device.
- If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
- Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.
With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Charge 5 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I tried everything on mine as well. Every “helpful” tip or trick has not worked. So NO this was not helpful.
Since the newest update my charge 5 will not sync or pair to my iPhone. It looks like it’s time to go look into another smart watch or tracker.

fitbit has not once provided me with details on how to fix the many problems I have had with my Charge 5. Suddenly mine disconnects every night from bluetooth on my iphone. It lo longer accurately records sleep stats. I have had three different models, the Charge 5 has had the most problems of them all! It is time to give up on Fitbit and find another smart watch with better support!
