Charge 5 is not holding a charge

My Fitbit Charge 5 is not holding a charge. All the notes on this forum say to hold down the button on the charger. What button. Mine is completely smooth!!

There is a small button on the USB end of the charger. It doesn’t stick out a lot but you should still be able to feel it.
