I have a Charge 5, and Google Fit on my mobile phone. Tonight I went on a walk that I had previously measured accurately on an Ordnance Survey map. The OS distance is 4.78 Km, the Fitbit claimed 5.09 Km and Google Fit claimed 4.9 km
A disparity of nearly 300 mts!
Is all the other data inaccurate and not to be relied upon?
I spent £130 for this thing and it is giving false data.
How can I get this thing to be accurate?

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @ManEatingTiger!
In order to give you more precise results on distance tracking your Charge 5 needs to know your stride length. To get more insights on this, I'd suggest having a look at "How does my Fitbit device calculate distance traveled?" and "Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?" following the link below.
How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?

Thanks for the reply. The fitbit is also inaccurate with time spent on an activity and in recording my pulse rate.
I now wish to return it for a full refund as it is not for for purpose in my opinion.
Any ideas how to contact Fitbit for the return process as their site is very pie in providing that sort of information.

You're welcome, @ManEatingTiger.
If you really can't come to terms with your device, here's how to contact Fitbit support to get things arranged:
As the team currently is very busy, you either have to have a little patience or use X (previously known as Twitter) to get in contact.

And I'm still waiting for a refund.
I am not happy with the quality of the product or the customer service.
If anyone is reading this and is thinking about buying a Fitbit - don't.
