My sleep is tracked with several interruptions during the night. The recordings are also incorrect as awake periods are missing.

Hi there, @jonaf. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Charge 5.

While reading your post I was wondering if your Charge 5 is brand new? If so, please note since you just bought it, give the RHR a few days to settle down. It does some calculations, looking at heart rate throughout the day and while you are sleeping, so it might just not have enough data to give a reasonable value yet.

In addition to that, I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

My fit bit charge 5 was recording sleep consistently up until the last 2-3 weeks.

I am now just getting partial sleep or no recordings at all.

Have done all the suggested fixes but still not recording my sleep consistently.

I will cancel my subscription if I continue to have problems

My Fitbit charge 5 has rarely gotten the sleep right. Ex. Says I slept 55 min last night when I slept a good 7 hours. Have had this problem from the beginning.
