Hi ... I previously had the charge 2 which broke after 5 years. I purchased the charge 5 but have noticed a huge difference in step count to mileage. On charge 2 it was 10000 for 5 miles but on the charge 5 its 12000 steps for 5 miles ! Both has same stride details.... its messing with my head. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks

Hi there, @MrsCrome8. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the discrepancy on your step count between your Charge 2 and Charge 5. I understand where your concern is coming from, I will do my best to help you with this.

As a first approach, please double check that the following are correct in the Fitbit app:

As you already know, we use height to estimate your walking and running stride lengths, you may want to measure and manually adjust these values if your legs are longer or shorter than average. For more information, please see How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?
