Whenever I fully charge my Fitbit Charge 5 it works until about 8am -9am and after that the screen goes black. When I charge it again it says 4% after being on charge all night. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Welcome to the Fibit community, @SebR213!

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Charge 5. I'd suggest trying to restart your device by closely following these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure:

1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.

If this won't work for you, please contact Fitbit support to get further assistance as the battery of your device might be defective:

Hopefully your device is not more than a year old. There are innumerable posts about this problem here on the message board.

You can try the restart solution, but it seems to be, at best, a short term temporary fix. Contact Customer Support ASAP and request a new Charge 5. Based on all the posts here, there does not seem to be any way to repair this problem.
