My charge 5 keeps getting stuck on the ECG screen. I'm not interested in using the ECG app, and did not purposely tap a tile to get there. Once it's there, I'm stuck. Last time it eventually came back after several hours. This time I've tried charging it, resetting it with the button on the charger cable, etc. Nothing works.
I can't swipe in ANY direction or tap to get any other option. I see a number of similar posts but they are all from a year or so ago and are no longer allowing comments.
Ideas?

Hello @Janet_Stephen_T
When I've accidentally tapped on the ECG screen, I discovered that tapping on the screen multiple times eventually canceled the process and my Charge 5 returned to the clock face.
I'm not sure that uninstalling the ECG app will help, but it might be worth a try. You can do this from the Gallery page in the Fitbit app. It won't remove the ECG tile on the Charge 5, but it might help prevent the device getting stuck on that display.

I called and they found a solution! It was odd. You go to the App on your phone and choose a new clock face, and install it. Somehow that wakes up the watch and it started working again - took about 30 seconds after the install was done.
Thanks for the reply... I had read about the tapping thing and tried it but it didn't do anything. Also when you say "uninstall" the ECG app, is it a separate App? I only have Fitbit on my phone, I never installed anything else...

Hello @Janet_Stephen_T
Thanks for sharing the troubleshooting that Support provided and that it worked for you. This information will be helpful to other users dealing with a similar problem.
The ECG "app" is a default Fitbit app on the Charge 5 & 6. You should find it under the App section in the Gallery where you went to change clock face.
