Charge 5 is stuck on the Fitbit logo

My fitbit will not reboot, its vibrates like it should but does not change the fitbit logo on the screen. I didn't get it wet or anything and I can't find other ways to fix this.

I have the same problem. I finally got it working after leaving it on the charger for hours and hours and going back and checking on it periodically. Once it was 99% charged, then it finally rebooted and started to work again. But it has been dodgy all week.

LoL just noticed after chatting with google support, that I received an email from Fitbit with a message saying, you earned the 7-year badge.... LOL i guess my reward is a broken a Fitbit which most probably they won't replace even when I did nothing to it... anyways... will keep you all posted on what they say...

update: had a chat with google support, my device was not covered under warranty and did not recover from the reboot loop. i was offered a 50% discount code towards an eligible device. it was disappointing to have to replace a charge 5 within 2 years of use. i was not sure if to order another Fitbit device or go with another brand... but i really like charge models size... i don't like bigger or smaller. anyways... i used the code to order a charge 6, for a bit over 80 dollars. FYI, if you have a health savings account with your employer, you can use that to pay for health trackers... good luck with your device and hopefully you don't have to replace it

I'm having the same issue with my Charge 5. It stopped working and charging in the afternoon on May 18. When I do the press the button on the flat side of hte charger three times to reset it shows the blue logo for a second then back to black. If I leave it plugged in for hours it keeps trying to reboot and eventually shows me the circled X. I'm out of warranty and was really enjoying the device. It's a shame that it quit like that. To make matters worse, I tried to forget it and re-add, so now it's not connected and doesn't show on my profile, it's like it never existed. I hope they can offer a solution.

Same problem here. My charge 5 was working fine then suddenly stopped on May 19. Tried and tried to reboot. FINALLY got the Fitbit signal to show up so I thought it was rebooting. Fitbit signal would flash and it would vibrate. This repeated several times. When I did finally get it working the battery now lasts for about 30 minutes max. Google ruined the Fitbit experience. I’ll never buy another. Goodbye Fitbit. Hello Garmin!
