Charge 5 is suddenly skipping days of counting my steps! Why?

In the last two days I have walked almost 700 and got credit for 400+ then walked almost 5K and still only got credit for 490+! Luckily I have Apple Health and it also counts my steps but my health insurance company only goes by what comes in from FitBit. First the FitBit app doesn’t tell me to charge my device but that it’s still 62% charged when in fact it’s deader than a door nail and not registering any steps for two days that way, then it does this!

the App is becoming a HUGE failure in the last year. I’ve had to file multiple complaints about incompatibility issues that you refused to resolve, the site has gone down numerous times, the Charge 5 has ani inherent design flaw in counting steps in that it gives false steps if you wave your hand so it’s best NOT to wear it on your dominant wrist or any wrist! Furthermore, if you wear it on your wrist it will NOT count all your steps correctly when you walk. It might get the first 100 steps correctly but after that it will miss 18 to 24 steps for every 100 steps! I don’t know if it’s the same thing for runners but this is true for me as a walker. I’m a stroke survivor who can only walk and have been doing long distance walking since 2003. Your device and App are inconsistent. Now they inconsistently even choose to count my steps at all! There’s a HUGE difference between 497 and 4968 steps!

See attached photo of steps for yesterday per Apple Health vs FitBit numbers of 497!
