Charge 5 is syncing to my phone but screen is blank

Hi, my Fitbit charge 5 has a blank screen and is unresponsive. It is recording my steps and synching to my phone (after I reset it) but I can't use it as a watch or for anything else.

I've tried changing the clock face, running the battery down, charging overnight and resetting the Fitbit using the button on the charging cable but no joy.

Can anyone help?

I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is unresponsive and have a blank screen. 

Thank you for all the troubleshooting steps you tried. 

Could you please confirm if you tried the restart procedure described here? 

  1. Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable on a computer.
  2. Press the button on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing for 1 second between each time.
  3. Wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

Thanks  for responding. I already tried that reset several times but it didn't help
