Charge 5 is unusable after getting replacement

I got an email few months back that there is a change in the email address(which I did not intiate). Unfortunately, I did not much put attention to it and now I can't pair my fitbit to my phone anymore. 

Seems like the hacker has ordered a replacement and made the current device unusable.

Can anyone help with this? I tried contacting the support over chat but looks like they have no clue about something like this happening and were just helping me out from a manual. Not helpful at all!

Fit bit needs to up there security!

Hi @Jalpranjal unfortunately it happens. All someone needs is the information that we put out on the internet to figure out our passwords and such. I have friends who seem to put their entire lives on social media, including those seemingly innocent quizzes or games that ask for more personal information. Since it's already been done, there is nothing you can do as you failed to reply to the initial email from Fitbit warning you.

Thank you so much Juan for taking a look into at. MUCH APPRECIATED! 

This has been very frustrating and I am not financially able to just buy another one. I just wish to continue using this one just like before. I will be desperately waiting for the email from support!

@Jalpranjal . Thank you for reaching out.  I just verified with our team and they informed me that your case is being worked on, but they are investigating the account also. They need a bit more time . As soon as they have information about your account, they'll be reaching out and letting you know how to proceed afterwards.
