Charge 5 keeps crashing in the middle of the day and it won't sync

Charge 5 freezes up in the middle of the day and won’t sync with the app. Once it finally does sync, it has lost half the day.

To better assist you, may I know if your Charge 5 is crashing at random times or it's doing so while working out?

As a first approach, I'd recommend restarting your Charge 5 by following these steps

It happens at random times. 
then the tracker and the app won’t sync and they both have different data
