Charge 5 keeps receiving notifications I do not want

How do I fix what notifications come through to my Fitbit? Everything was fine only showing SMS texts, calls and calendar reminders until I updated the app and now EVERYTHING is going to my Fitbit.

Even if I have the notifications switched off, only have select ones turned on and others off, it still ALL comes through. I don't want it on DND, I just want certain notifications.

How can I fix this?

Hi there, @Spj04. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is still receiving notifications you don't want. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Since the issue persists, please try the following:

  • Restart your Charge 5
  • Make sure that your Fitbit app is updated
  • Make sure that the notifications you don't want are turned off
  • Log out of your Fitbit app
  • Force quit the app
  • Log back into your Fitbit app
  • Sync your Charge 5 and test it

Now no notifications will go through at all. I've done everything mentioned multiple times and nothing is working. Whether I only have a few selected or everything, nothing goes to my fit bit.

I'm having exactly the same issue. I get every notification my phone has, or nothing. I don't  want my wrist to tell me that a newspaper headline has popped up on my phone.
