Today I received a brand new charge 5, but it doesn't work properly. It has a full battery, but keeps restarting every 2 minutes. I can't get the update installed, because the download has to start over again and again.
Somebody knows how to solve this?

I've just been researching and trying to find out how this was solved by other people.
I found this thread which has a few suggestions and one of them might work for you.

I tried the suggestions.
But even when I 'm not trying to update, my fitbit still keeps restarting every 2 minutes. So also when I've the fitbit on my wrist it will spontainiously restart.

It sounds like a nightmare. Can you just try one more time putting it on the charger and pressing the button 3 times to formally restart it? Also, some people have had problems connected to clock faces (I don't know which ones though), if you're able to get it to sync to the App, it might be worth trying to change the clock face.
If everything in that thread failed, it's probably time to contact Support. You can do that by selecting Help at the bottom of the page, then Get Support (Check that the country setting is correct. If it isn't go to the bottom of the screen and tap the country to change it). Then choose Live Chat (I've heard that's an effective way to contact Fitbit).
Please come back and let us know what happens and whether you were able to fix it, and how.
