Charge 5 keeps turning off after the alarm goes off

Every time the alarm goes off the screen goes black. Recharging it is the only way to wake it up again.... which I now have to do multiple times a day. The battery is 90% full.

If Fitbit is trying to convince long time users to leave because the device is unreliable....

Hi there, @StephstaRR. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and bringing this to my attention. It's odd to hear that your Charge 5 turns off after the alarm goes off. I understand where your concern is coming from. I'll do my best to help you with this. 

As a first approach, may I know if your Charge 5 is also turning off with other features that require vibration? E.g. your step goal, notifications, etc.? As per the description of your post I understand that you bring back your Fitbit device just by charging it, but I'd like to clarify whether you try restarting it?

If you haven't done so yet, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face. 

Let me know if the suggestions above do the trick.

My case is worst. The alarm didn't even vibrate and it shuts down, lucky i have my phone as backup alarm

I have tried the above, resetting, changing the clock face, and upgraded the firmware update.

None of the above suggestions work. I use the alarm for my meds so this is an important feature to have be reliable...
