My Charge 5 is about 2 years old. It now switches off almost every other day at around 2am! The. battery is still about 50~60% charged.
Sleep mode is disabled. DND is off. Brightness medium
When restarted it shows the date and time it switched off at. Bluetooth is then also a pain to restart and connect. When I do get it to connect, the data for that night, obviously, has gone, but at least the time and date are correct!
Why? Is it a a software problem or a hardware problem?
Cure?? Anyone please!

Hi there, @BHSnapper. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5.
I had a similar issue a while ago, where my Fitbit device was resetting at random times and not at midnight as it was supposed to do. Nevertheless, I realized I had my time zone set incorrectly and that was causing my Fitbit device to reset all my data. Would you mind double checking this setting? For more information, see How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?
If the above doesn't describe your issue, please restart your Fitbit device and keep an eye on your Charge 5's behavior the next couple of days.
