I started having problems a few weeks ago. My Charge 5 keeps turning off, especially during an effort (eg: 25 minutes into a spinning session), even though the battery was at 85% before the session and the gps was not activated. Sometime the screen turns black and nothing more happens, sometime the Fitbit logo keeps flashing. Charging it right after it stops doesn’t change anything. It looks like I have to leave it alone for a few hours before or after charging it. I tried resetting it with the button on the charger and with the reset function in the parameters, but the problem keeps coming back.
What’s the use of a physical activity monitor if it can’t monitor physical activity?
And yes, I have the latest version of the system (194.91)... from what I have read here, there might be a link between the update and my problems...

I have had the same problem 3 times this week. I contact support through Chat and that was useless. They wanted a video of me trying the restart. My battery does not seem to loose the charge fast but it takes hours before the logo goes away. Today was the first day that the logo came on while the Charge 5 was in exercise mode. The other times it happened an hour or two after the exercise and I had synced the fitbit with the app. I have also found that the activity results can be different from the display when you sync it. That is also happening with the Versa 2.
