The screen on my charge 5 froze. Over the course of the following hours the screen then turned off.
It had synced earlier that day with the app showing 90% plus battery, but when i plug into a charger it will only spring into charge if I use the button on the charger to wake it up. At this point it shows only 1% charged but this cannot be correct as it was 90% plus when last on and synced.
It will then charge and you can see charge increasing, but within the hour it will then cut off the charge and turn off again. Upon resetting again via the button on the charger it will go back to 1% on the screen and so the same cycle will continue for a while where it will charge, and then cut off again.
If I remove from charge during this period it will turn off immediately, and then go back to 1% when I reset again via charger.
This item was purchased in Feb 2022 so is around 18 months old.
