Charge 5 locks up and/or resets frequently after update to 1.170.50

My Charge 5 updated last evening about 5:00 CDT to version 1.170.50, and since then has completely locked up 4 times, and unexpectedly reseet about 5 times. The resets occurred after I selected a Bike Excercise and then started it. It would reset after about 15-20 seconds each time.

 

Before the update, I have not had any problems with my Charge 5 - unlike what I'm seeing on this forum.

 

Any ideas?

@kmedcalf, if you haven't tried the charger button reset procedure yet, give it a go.  I noticed a while back that the charger button reset seemed to do a "deeper" reset than the Charge 5 menu reset.

Thanks. Already tried that and also erase user data and re-add the fitbit (as suggested by customer support). None of that worked, so they sent a prepaid return label and my Charge 5 is going back for a warranty replacement.
