I am a big fan of the Charge 5 however during interval workouts I find that it doesn't keep a consistent track of the heart rate. When I first got the device it worked as it should then slowly declined to the point it was replaced under warranty. That one worked great at first then again slowly stopped tracking properly. I then bought a new Charge 5 and a new strap and found that to work great until eventually it stopped tracking properly.
I have tried the infinity strap and the official sports strap.
I have tried each wrist, different heights on the wrists as well as varying tightness on the strap and am still struggling to find an optimum position.
This is highly annoying as I am now on my third Charge 5 and am still not getting the full functionality for which I wanted the device for.
Has anyone had similar issues and overcome them?
Has anyone had better experience with straps from Amazon?
TIA
