I finally bought my first fitbit after always buying cheaper versions. I've only had it since Tuesday and I'm starting to wish I never bothered. It loses sync a few times a day. That I have to keep doing a full reset by pressing the button on the charger which is a nightmare when I don't always have the charger with me.
Is anyone else having the same problem? I went away for the night last night and didn't have my

Hi, @Aggy0910, welcome to the community, you should not be having this experience. May I draw your attention to these articles How do Fitbit devices sync their data? & Why won't my Fitbit device sync? which provides guidance and advice on "syncing"
You need your Fitbit app on the phone to run in the background constantly (you do not mention the make or model of your phone) if you have an Android phone, go to the app tray - Phone settings>apps>Fitbit> ensure all permissions are allowed>clear storage & cache (just for good measure)>ensure Mobile data & WiFi allow background data & unrestricted data usage (and you have enough credit in your internet account) & App battery usage should be set at "unrestricted". This last is because some phones treat the Fitbit app as non-essential & closed it down.
I hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
Cheers

@Aggy0910 can you say a little more about the sync problems?
There is an option for "Live data" which will constantly update your tracker data to the Fitbit servers, and then back to your Fitbit app, as long as the phone is within bluetooth distance of your tracker. Otherwise, I believe it just syncs when you open the app.
