Charge 5 losing power and no heart rate

Yesterday my fjtbit stopped tracking mid run. When I got home it froze. When I finally got it started it wasn't take heart rate, no green lights and died within 3 hrs. I've been through all the reboots and contacted fitbit. I purchased this 14.5 months ago so they state I'm not eligible for any coverage. Is anyone else run into major malfunctioning with their fitbit charge 5? If there's no resolution I cannot imagine spending hundreds more on another one

Just went and bought an Apple SE at Costco. They will take it back and refund even after the man. warranty. Not even gonna bother trying to get help from Fitbit after reading these many complaints. I’ve used a Fitbit for many years. My Charge 5 is also about 14 months out. Hate to switch but don’t see any choice.

My iphone app stopped register heart rate and slepp yesterday. My fitbit works but does not synk with the iphone app. I called support yesterday they told me to wait and see till today, but the problem still remains.
