I had an Inspire HR for several years, and while the screen never lit up when I lifted my wrist (I had to push the button), at least everything else seemed to work. I recently "upgraded" to the Charge 5 and it's driving me nuts. There's no low battery notification - I've tried turning the feature off and back on again, but it continues to just die with no warning. I've searched this issue and see YEARS of posts from various people with various trackers who've also had issues with not receiving low battery warnings. How is Fitbit neglecting something SO SIMPLE that could be fixed in the next software update?
The silent alarm function also doesn't work, and battery life is trash despite the fact that I don't have notifications for anything from my phone - texts, apps, etc. - turned on. Plus, the Charge 5 is slower to charge than my Inspire HR. I thought the Inspire HR was just a little quirky, but it appears these quality issues are systemic within Fitbit. This is more of a vent, because I don't expect Fitbit to do anything about it, but it would be fantastic if they made actual efforts to resolve these issues.
