In addition to the floor not being counted, there is no tracking of active minutes on the app that I can see, there is only Calories, Steps, Miles and Zone Minutes. I can' add back the active minutes for the day, something I check regularly.

I just picked up a Charge 5. Of course the packaging says nothing about a removed feature. Being this is a newer model, it's absolutely frustrating to have less features and the price point is similar to the older model.
The comment that this was done to keep the cost low does not mesh with Moore's law. While this is not a compute issue, the cost of producing hardware is reduced over time as it is with compute increases in performance.
I've read replies from the Fitbit moderators and the replies are clearly corporate driven, but they are smug in nature.
Fitbit let us down with this and I feel only excuses is what we will receive, nothing to keep a repeat customer happy - This is my fourth device.

Hi @cdgjones the Charge 5 has active zone minutes - click to learn more. As for the altimeter, since it's not included in the Charge 5, you can't track flights of stairs.

Hello @cdgjones
Zone Minutes is the new name for active minutes and are based on your Heart Rate Zones based on your resting heart rate.
There are three zones: Fat Burn, Cardio and Peak.
If you tap on the Zone Minutes tile in the App on your phone, you can see which heart rates you need to hit to get each type of minute. Cardio and Peak count as 2 minutes so you may get more minutes than the actual time spent if you’re working out hard.
I’m sorry you’re disappointed about the altimeter, lots of people are too.
I hope that helps a bit.
