A week ago my Charge 5 stopped reporting Health Stats & Sleep, also my heart rate reading went off for a day and then came back with a ridiculously high reading for a while, then it disappeared and has not returned. The only thing recording over the past week is steps.
My fitbit is only 12 months old.
I have tried everything i can think of and all suggestion to reset & I have uninstalled and reinstalled App. I am at a loss as to how to fix
Any suggestions please.

Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @Muppet2!
Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Charge 5. Thanks for having tried to fix those yourself.
Please try to have a peek on the underside of your device while wearing it to see if the LEDs for HR tracking are blinking. If so I'd suggest to try if cleaning the back of your Charge 5 will your issues.
How do I clean my Fitbit device?
I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks for reporting back, @Muppet2.
Please check if HR tracking is set to ON. To do so, swipe down from the clock screen and tap the Settings app to open it. Then go to Other Settings and locate Heart Rate. If it' set to OFF turn it on. If it's already ON, turn it OFF and ON again.

@Muppet2 , although you've mentioned already having tried several things to get your Charge 5 fixed, I'd suggest to see if restarting your device will have a positive effect, especially as this procedure sometimes needs more than one attempt to work. Please do so following these instructions as timing is very crucial:
1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a reliable power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.
