Charge 5 not auto tracking exercise anymore and heartrate monitor is inaccurate

This is my 3rd Fitbit. I really am partial to fitbit over other fitness trackers.  I got the Charge 5 for Christmas (22) and everything has been great until this week.

It no longer auto tracks my walks but it will count them as zone minutes instead.  If I try to manually enter my walk, it adds the steps to my daily count instead of including them in the daily count.  The heartrate monitor isn't tracking properly.  I'm walking at a pace where I am out of breath and can't hold a conversation and it's telling me I'm at 105 BPM.

I've restarted the tracker. I've done a pulse restart from the charging cord.  I've done a force stop and restart.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app.  I've restarted my phone. I've tried to loosen, tighten, and adjust strap placement on my wrist.  I've also ensured that it is still tracking on my nondominate wrist.

Nothing is working.  Please help!

Also, usually you do a double tap to get the tracker to display and a single tap to toggle between active minutes, heart rate, steps, calories, etc...It doesn't let me do that either.  The screen lights up and then goes black when I try to tap and toggle.
