Got my new Charge 5 less than 24 hours ago. It won't charge regardless of how many times I've carefully connected it and now won't restart which I'm attempting up do to possibly fix the charging issue. Fitbit did you release defective watches?

I guess it depends how you charge it, because the Charge 5 seems to be a bit "special". When I got mine I connected it with the charging cable to a power bank: nothing. I connected it to the USB-ports of my computer: again nothing. I connected it with a charger to the socket. Suddenly it started....

You are exactly right!! The same port i used to charge my Charge 4 did nothing nor one used for my phone. But for whatever reason, it's now working on a USB port from a multi charger bank. Go figure!!

Had the same issue, returned it on DOA.
Tried charging it trough both computer 2.0 and 3.0, a USB charging block and a wall connector, didn't respond to any and couldn't reset.
Seems like a good product but with a lot of bad one out there with battery issue, syncing issue and some just dieing.
