My wife’s relatively new Charge 5 has stopped displaying goal celebrations (e.g. 10,000 steps). How do I correct this?

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Hinzpe

Thank you for sharing this information about this inconvenience with your Charge 5.

If you haven't done so already, please make sure the Do not Disturb Mode and the Sleep Mode features are turned off. Keep in mind that when the do not disturb setting is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The do not disturb icon illuminates in quick settings.

When the sleep mode setting is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist.
  • To wake Charge 5, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

If you're still having this problem make sure to check that all the permissions are turned on by going to your phone's settings > Apps > Fitbit > Notifications > Goals and Celebrations. You can also try a restart procedure following these steps

Hope this helps, I'll be around.
