Why would a feature be deleted when you've upgraded your product from a Charge 4 to a Charge 5? Seems kind of absurd to me! If anything, new features should be added to make a person want to upgrade. My charge 4 was working great, but I decided to upgrade, just to keep up with the technology. I gave my Charge 4 to a relative to inspire them to get fit, and I knew they wouldn't spend the money to buy one themselves unless they tried one first. Now don't I look stupid!

I realize the Charge 5 has no altimeter, I gathered that from the other questions and answers here in this community. My question would probably be, why on a product upgrade from Charge 4 to Charge 5 would the altimeter be removed. As for the "stupid" part, I'm saying I look pretty stupid for giving a perfectly good Charge 4 away for an upgrade that is missing features the Charge 4 has!

I'm not sure why the decision was made to not include the altimeter. From what I see, you were thoughtful enough to gift the Charge 4 to help a relative learn how to be more fit and that's a good thing.

Yet absolutely stupid! now i have to wear a Garmin watch too to keep track of the no of floors i climbed! Totally ridiculous! Probably should just switch back to my Charge 4! Especially now it stopped working completely just after 3 months! 😤

I agree, Just decided to use again my Charge 4. I hope that after all these feedback/comments, maybe Google decides to put again in Charge 6 the altimeter.

I upgraded to a Charge 5 and also am very disappointed that it doesn't track floors. Now there is a whole bunch of badges I will never get to inspire me. Plus when hiking I won't be able to judge how hard the hike was. If I had know that I couldn't track floors I would not have bought the Charge 5, it is not a upgrade.
