Charge 5 not measuring distance on everyday movements

My charge 5 has Stopp measuring distance. I’ll have 8000 steps at the end of the day with 0km. As far as I can tel this started happening on 29/7/24

There is an issue with some Fitbit devices where they are not properly tracking distance. The Fitbit team is aware of the issue.

One user doing troubleshooting discovered that their Fitbit started tracking distance when they disabled Automatic stride length and manually entered their stride length in the Fitbit app. If you want to try this workaround, this page has the instructions on how to manually set your stride length (<-- click link)

That said, some users have reported that the workaround didn't work for them.

Hopefully, it won't take too long for the fix to be implemented.
