Charge 5 not receiving any calls notifications or messages

In the past, I always receive notifications of any contacts from family on my Fitbit. Lately over the past month or so I never received any calls notifications or messages from my family. I went through checked all notifications on my phone. I don’t know what’s going on but I never know when I receive an email and usually, It will say I have a text message. It doesn’t say the whole message. It’s just that I was notified so I don’t know how to get that info back.

Thank you for providing the information regarding this situation with your Charge 5.

In addition to the article provided by @RiekoC, I'd recommend checking whether your Charge 5 is in sleep mode. When sleep mode is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake your tracker, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

On a side note, I'd recommend double checking whether your Charge 5 was properly updated. Please make sure it's already running version 1.194.91. In the Fitbit app, tap the Upper left corner > Devices > your device image. The firmware version number appears under your device's name. For more information, see How do I update my Fitbit device?

currently my version of Fitbit is 2,0001.188.58

Somewhere in this info, it should be version 1,194.91 So I don’t know if my info is correct or I should have the one I just typed in
