Charge 5 not syncing with IPhone

In the last 3 days on 3 separate occasions I have had to reset my Charge 5 to get it to sync with my IPhone and the App.  Plus my Charge 5 is running out of battery 3 or 4 times faster than normal- is there a bug since the last firmware update? What’s the solution?
