I have deleted the app and reinstalled. I have restarted the Fitbit. I have charged the Fitbit and pressed the button three times. Nothing seems to work.

Hi, @Revaughn , sometimes there is an issue if you regularly sync to more than one device. I definitely have this problem as I sometimes sync to my Android phone and sometimes to my iPad. I find it works best if I turn off Bluetooth on one of the devices if my Fitbit isn’t syncing. That usually fixes the issue.
I would recommend choosing which one to sync and then turning off Bluetooth on the other one. Once synced you can turn BT back on again.
Please let us know if this helps, or post again if not with as much information as possible so someone can troubleshoot for you.

Thanks for the feedback but it did not work. At some point today my phone synced with the app but my app shows a different number of steps taken than the Charge 5 Fitbit. Go figure.

Hi, @Revaughn , if your Fitbit is showing more info than your app then probably it hasn’t fully synced. My advice is still the same. It works best if you sync with only one device and turn off Bluetooth on the other one for best/ quickest results. But it will all come out in the wash!
