My charge 5 has stopped syncing

Wonder if we got an update? It was fine yesterday and today NADA. It is keeping my steps and calories burned on the device but not recognising daily activity. I have reset twice with no result. I might try deleting the app from my phone and reinstalling to see if that helps.

I exited the app and reinstalled. Does not communicate. Also no longer taking a charge. Not even a year old.

Update. After allowing my charge 5 to run down and not wearing it for a day 🙃, I attached the charger and it took a full charge. I then tried to sync and was surprised that I'm back in communication
