Charge 5 not tracking distance and pace on avtivity

Charge 5 is not recording any distance on activity and recording totally wrong pace for the same activity. The rest is ok (steps, duration, heart etc). Tried on google Fitbit chat and got very little understanding of the problem and then had chat ended as I could not post any more comments on the thread!!

There is currently an issue with some Fitbit devices not properly tracking distance. The Fitbit team is aware of the issue.

One user discovered that turning off automatic stride and manually setting a stride length in the Fitbit app resulted in them seeing distance tracked again. If you would like to try this workaround, this page has the information on how to manually set the stride length in the Fitbit app (<-- click link). That said, I have seen some users report that the workaround didn't work for them.

Hopefully, it won't take too long to fix the distance tracking issue so that we don't have to use a workaround.
