I am quite disappointed that floors are not counted by the Charge 5. I bought it thinking that floors was a minimum for all its trackers. If I had known beforehand that this was not the case, I would not have bought it being much more expensive than the other earlier Charges that checked floors.
Adding to my frustration is that the floors icon is still showing on my activity page even if I can't log any. It's like a constant reminder that I'm not logging any when in fact it's the Charge 5 that doesn't check it.
Is the Charge 5 capable of having an altameter through an update and Fitbit is just not listening to owners disappointed that it's not yet there or was the Charge 5 really made lacking it?
In any case, it's disappointing...

Hello @FGMCarandang
I’m sorry you’re disappointed about the floors.
The Charge 5 doesn’t have an altimeter so won’t be able to track floors even with an update.
Is it possible for you to return yours and get a different model?
If the stairs information upsets you on your Today page in the App, you can remove it if you like. If you tap the Edit button in the top right of that page a cross appears on the different tiles. You can tap Stairs and it will be removed. Then tap Done to save your change.
I was sad to remove my tile when I did but have got used to it now.
I hope that helps you a bit.
