I often find I get up for 30 minutes in the middle of the night .I go back to bed and usually sleep well. In the past month my charge 5 stops my sleep cycle when I get up but does not show the second period of sleep. It used to record my full night sleep even if there was a break . I use the tracker particularly too record sleep. At the moment the Charge 5 is pretty useless

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Keithhull!
Sad to hear that you're having an issue with tracking your sleep with your Charge 5.
To hopefully improve sleep tracking accuracy, I'd suggest setting up a sleep schedule and a sleep goal. In some cases changing the sleep sensiitivity also had a positive impact on sleep tracking accuracy. Here's how to do all that:
How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hello @Keithhull
It is annoying when our Fitbits don't properly record our sleep.
When this happens to me, I edit my sleep log in the Fitbit app to better track my sleep. If you would like instructions on how to do this:
I find that it can take some time for the Fitbit app to update my sleep log, stages, and score - sometimes an hour or more. But it does eventually update.
Sometimes, my sleep gets tracked as 2 sessions. When this happens, I delete one of the sessions after taking note of my correct sleep start & end time. Then I edit the remaining sleep log with my start & end time so it's a single session. It took me a while to accept that deleting a sleep log only deletes the time interval & not the recorded data.
Hope that your Charge 5 will soon go back to properly tracking your entire sleep.
