Charge 5 not tracking sleep or heart rate

Same here won't record no help 3 nights in a row im taking it back. Its useless. I've wasted time on this

They wouldn't let me return it since it was after 30 days i noticed the
problem and they wouldn't let me do a warranty exchange when i asked.
Fitbit said it was my tattoos and my wrist and that it is working because I
would randomly get sleep tracking and it wasn't a consistent problem. My
inspire hr worked amazingly for years and i wish I hadn't gifted it when I
got myself the charge 5. What a waste of money.

They wouldn't let me exchange it for anything, not even another charge 5.

So I have an update !

I switched it to my right wrist  a month after I posted the last post and it miraculously started working fine. It would sometimes not track for a few seconds still due to the watch not being tightened up properly during training or if the back got sweat on it. Hope this helps a bit 🙂

Does anyone know how to get the spo2 to work? I've been working with customer support for 3 days since I bought it. I need the information for my dr. Customer service no help. Its worthless to me if it won't show my oxygen. The heart rate works all night long.

Charge 5 didn't track a few days this week - it's inconsistent, unreliable & it's what to be expected since I've had this issue not long after I first bought this watch to replace my previous Charge 3 - which was way more reliable than Charge 5.

Yes, i also tried switching for about a month and it still didn't work
properly. That's when they said it was my tattoos. My pixel watch works
perfectly on both wrists and so did my inspire hr. So yeah, glad you seem
to have resolved your issue but after 6 months of trying everything and no
help from support, i bought the Pixel watch and I'm just gonna call it a
day. It's amazing.

That’s definitely a manufacturing issue. Like my old one.

They were trying to mislead you I think…tattoos got nothing to do with it. The charge 5 just got a lot of manufacturing issues. I still got the flex, inspire inspire and HR, luxe, charge 3 & 4, and they never failed me like the 5 did !

Supposed to show up after tracking both your sleep and O2. I always see mine after refreshing the app every morning, and when it gives me my stats. 

But I don’t really have a tip for that specific issue. 

Hell no ! You should definitely do that. And get something else

I don’t image I will have any luck without spending lots of frustrating calls. So disappointed with fitbit. I have been wearing their product over 10 years with no problem. They must know by now that it is a product problem not a user problem

I have it, not giving Fitbit anymore money.

When I ride my Peloton, I also wear a Powrlabs HR watch which syncs great w/ the bike, Strava & PZPack.com.

What I do like is the food tracker on the Fitbit, which is a free feature.

Too many headaches over this watch, & I even had a replacement when I reported within the warranty time & same issue - failure to correctly log Zone minutes consistently.

I might get an extended warranty on Amazon if I replace this watch down the road. I'll look into this then, but it's not a priority.

It's clear Fitbit is VERY MUCH AWARE of THIS (& other) issue/s folks have reported & their inability to resolve the problem speaks volumes.

I accept it, & MONEY TALK$ - which is the ONLY THING this manufacturer cares about.

It's consistently unreliable & I don't care anymore. I have another ANT HR monitor which works / synchs w/ Peloton & other apps which 'communicate' w/ the other wristband - albeit it's not a watch. The Fitbit charge 5 is a glorified watch.
