My Charge 5 stopped syncing late yesterday afternoon. The tracker didn't start a new day overnight, so I when I woke up this morning, my step count included yesterday's steps. Throughout the majority of the day the tracker would not sync, which appears to be a common issue with the firmware update.
A couple of hours ago I couldn't get the screen on the tracker to turn on. I plugged it in and noticed the battery had completely drained. It had been at approximately 70% prior to this. While letting it charge, I performed the restart procedures (pressing the button on the charger three times, etc). This restarted the tracker, but I also noticed that all of my steps and logged exercise from today was lost and was reset to zero.
Now as I am wearing it, I am noticing that it is no longer tracking any steps that I take and my step count is still set to zero.

Hello & welcome @Rollyfluff
Sorry to see you're having problems with your Charge 5.
We learned that early last week there were issues with Google server(s) that resulted in sync & login issues. The server issues were resolved about a day or so later. However, I suspect the issues weren't 100% fixed and they probably were still working to stabilize everything. Over the last few days, I've read posts where users had sync or login issues on both Android and Apple devices. Thankfully, they later reported that their Fitbits were back to working normally and everything synced properly.
Your issues might have been related to the recent Google server problems. If your Charge 5 isn't back to working normally, please let us know.
