Hi there, @Wolgg @GiGiF74. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Charge 5 devices are not responding to anything. I understand how you must be feeling. I will do my best to help you with this matter.

To better assist you, please confirm whether you tried restarting your Charge 5 as described here

If the restart doesn't work and your Charge 5 doesn't vibrate during the restart process, please follow the steps below:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again.

On a side note, please bear in mind that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.

I’ve tried all your suggestions. Unfortunately, even if it DOES charge to 100%, it’s dead by the end of the day 😞

I have tested the charge cable (with other user) cable working,

I have tried charging the device for long periods i.e two days - no effect

I have tried the reset numerous times - vibrates, then logo shows, then nothing

I have also tried removing app from phone and trying a factory reset - impossible with power / switching on

what would you suggest I do next ?

Fitbit is fully aware of this issue. If you haven’t already done so, I
would contact Customer Support. Their customer service has always been
fantastic. Honestly, that’s probably the only reason I still buy their
products,

Best of luck.

Same. My Fitbit stops charging last week and I didn't have a spare charger so I wore it until it completely went dead while I was waiting for my new charger to get delivered. Now I've had my Fitbit on the charger for hours and nothing. I've called customer service. They went through a few things, didn't work and then said we'll have to look into it and email you and that's it. So disappointed mine is less than a year and a half old
