I just bought a Charge 5 as an upgrade to my Charge 2. I bought it specifically so I would be able to receive app notifications from more than just calendar and text messages. However in my app list all I can select are Instagram and WhatsApp notifications. I’d love to be able to add others like Messenger and Signal. My wife’s Fitbit inspire 2 can notify her on messenger messages. Anything I can do in my app? I’ve had her send test messages in different apps but there’s still no option to turn on notifications for messenger.

Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this inconvenience with your Charge 5.
Before considering other options, please make sure to look for these apps in the "App notifications" section when you set up your notifications on the Fitbit app. If you're still having trouble with the app not showing you the options, please try to:

Thanks Davide. I tried rebooting the phone this morning and that actually gave me some more apps in the list for notifications. So I can now choose messenger at least so it works well enough for me now.

@claybitner That's great news, thanks for sharing this update!
Let me know if you're eventually able to see your other apps.
