Charge 5 only showing sleep score/stages one day of the week

Hello! I recently got a Charge 5 and was hoping to use it to improve my sleep, however it will only show me my sleep score one day a week. Otherwise it’s just showing me “Asleep, Restless and Awake.” Is this normal? If not, how do I fix it?

Thank you!

I don't understand what you mean. Can you show a screen shot of what you are seeing?

I just got the Charge 5 too. I have it on "sensitive" for sleep and I sync it with my tablet several times a day and I have new sleep scores daily, if that helps at all...?!

I too have the same issue.  Here is a shot from last Monday night.  I went to bed at 22h.

In 10 weeks I have only got one night where it recorded from 22-06h, despite a regular sleep schedule.  About 50% of the time no recording, the rest are ~3.5 hours sleep, usually starting about 03h.  I have usually been asleep for 4-5 hours by 03h.  I have an ongoing case with Fitbit, but no solution.  Tried all their suggestions and they have replaced the device once.  It appears to be a product wide hardware or software issue.

@SenFitIn seems like it must be your device. Mine has always worked consistently. The only time I didn't get data was when I actually did sleep for less than the minimum time it will analyse.

Sorry about the quality, but does this help?

@ava_pierson  yes that helps. No, that result isn't normal - I get a result like the one with the score next to it for every day. I don't know how to fix it as my app just does it properly. Have you tried contacting the customer support chat people for assistance?

Not yet, I figured I’d ask here first and if no one could help me to then contact the support chat. I’ll go ask them now!

This is from an older post..but when I wasn't getting consistent sleep stages, I moved the tracker up a smidge on my arm.

  • sleeping in a position that prevented the tracker from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or the tracker was worn too loosely. For best results, wear the tracker higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your tracker to bed).
  • Sleeping for less than 3 hours.
  • The tracker’s battery is critically low.

I tried all these various positions, also inside of the wrist, move to non-dominant hand, full charge, sensitive vs. normal.  No change in performance.
