Charge 5 only works when connected to the charger

So several times I have charged by charge 5, it says 100%. I place it on my arm and it goes dead, the screen will not even light up. I figured maybe the connection wasn't good with the charger but that isn't it. Any ideas?

I moved your post from the Android forum to the Charge 5 since your issue is likely a device problem, rather than OS issue.

When my Charge 5 battery started dropping rapidly, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. This process finally got my Charge 5 "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days. 

Hopefully, one or more of the recommended troubleshooting steps will work for you.
