Fitbit said they would replace my Charge 5 on June 28th. It's been on backorder. I can still see my order as received but it does not appear to have shipped. What is going on, and why has this whole defect situation being bungled so royally?

Yes!! Same here. The email I received when the order was placed stated it would ship on 8/4. Yet, on my order page--- which I can only find by clicking on the link in the email, it's not showing on my account/order page-- it now states just "on backorder".
What gives Fitbit??
This just might be my last Fitbit. There much be better options out there.

Very disappointed to have placed an order for a new charge 5 after fitbit support was unable to troubleshoot my existing charge 5. I placed the order on July 7, 2023 and just received an email stating the original backorder date of August 4, 2023 will not be met. Customer Service was unable to give me a new ship date. Meanwhile, Fitbit has my money and I have no charge 5.

Hi @Apsana , @CindyJu and @Bsoper2000 evidently the sales for the Charge 5 have resulted in reduced stock. I've asked a Fitbit Moderator to stop by to address this with you all, since they might have more information to share.

I ordered my FitBit Charge 5 on June 28th. I called again today (8/28/23) and it's still on backorder with no information available about when I may receive it. I have this feeling I will never see it.... has anyone used other similar watch/trackers that would be worth looking into, with a similar price point? Would rather not use FIt Bit, at this point- but not sure what else is out there. Thanks in advance for your insights.

@KZ77 Similar situation with the Versa 3; shipping date keeps getting bumped. Been waiting since start of July.
