Charge 5 outdoor cycle KM's do not show up in stats

I have the Charge 5 and use it for running, walking and cycling outdoors.

When I track my outdoor cycling I select the option on my watch wait for the GPS to connect and start tracking after I complete the cycle it shows I have cycled 16km or whatever, but when I look at the dashboard for the day or week it does not include the km's of cycling only the walking km's or running km's. I can look back on the activities history and see the cycle km's but not in the total for the day I complete the cycle.

Daily totals only include step-based activities, not bicycling.  My guess would be that it is intentional because a km cycling is far less effort than a km walking or running, but that's just my guess. There have been discussions about whether or not it should be included, or if it should be included with some adjustment factor, but in any case, that is just the way it is.  Only step-based activities are included in daily mileage.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
