Charge 5 overrides GPS data on phone

When I start my walks, I start the GPS function on my phone.  After a mile, I start running and the Charge 5 starts a new exercise, overriding the phone.  This causes errors in the mileage tracking.

I' highly suggest not to start a GPS based exercise on your phone but to do so on your Versa 4. To do so, please follow the instructions mentioned here:
