I have found that my Charge 5 stops working when it rains.
This has happened many times, which is frustrating as I live in Scotland and so frequently carry out a fell run in the rain. It then simply keeps cutting out and then re-starting. It broke one run into 7 separate segments, with gaps between- making it effectively useless.
It did recover once dry until I went sea-swimming. It would switch back on, but then shut its self down almost immediately.
I replaced it with a brand new Charge 5. This one has the same problem. I went for a hill run today and it started raining. As a result, the fitbit kept stopping and re-starting the exercise recording, so that it was in 4 sections. Is this a known fault as the salesman was adamant it was waterproof to 50m.
